Welcome to my Weebly!
About Me: I grew up in Northern New Jersey and came to NC when I became a student at UNCW. I've always known I wanted to be a teacher-there was never any question or thought about doing anything else. I spent many years playing school in my basement and bedroom when I was growing up and the education field is a big part of my family. My grandfather was a college professor, my grandmother was a high school history teacher, and my aunt was a high school math teacher. I've been teaching since 2000 and I have my reading certification. The majority of my teaching time has been in a 2nd grade classroom, but I've also taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and reading intervention. I'm excited to start my newest adventure as a literacy coach this year. During my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family-my husband, an Apex Firefighter, my two boys, and my pups. We are big hockey fans and love being at the rink! Of course, I also love to read a good book too! |
